Is it really free?
Yes — genuinely. Scribbly is run by volunteers who simply want to help writers grow. If you ever need paid services (editing, design, printing), we can recommend trusted professionals, but there’s absolutely no sales pressure.
How long does mentoring run?
It depends on what you need. Many writers benefit from 2–6 sessions over a few months. We adjust based on availability, goals, and how much support you're looking for.
Can you edit my whole manuscript?
Not as part of mentoring. Your mentor can offer high-level feedback and practical next steps. For full editing, we’ll point you to reputable editors who specialise in your genre.
Do you meet in person?
Whilst we love a coffee, most mentoring happens online for accessibility and flexibility. However, in person meet-ups or library sessions can occur, depending on mentor availability.
